Newsome High School Band

 

The core of our band curriculum is our concert band program. In these classes we learn to develop our individual and ensemble proficiencies. Then, through extra musical experiences, like participation in marching band, jazz band, and chamber ensembles, we continue to develop these skills and also our life skills. Newsome High School band students work with the Band Director to establish long and short term goals, and are building teamwork and time management skills through participation in student leadership programs.
